This is the first ‘side to side’ knit sweater Ann designed to produce vertical lines in a Fair Isle design. It is in fact knitted as two halves each from the cuff to the middle of the sweater. It is successful not only in a coat length, but also in a shorter bomber jacket version which gives a small all-over multicolored effect with vertical lines.
