Nickel-plated knitting needles are smooth and slippery, which allows our wool yarn with the lanolin left in it to glide over them easily and makes your knitting go faster. Double-pointed are used for our socks, and are best for starting children’s sleeves, but for everything else, choose a circular needle. This is your only significant knitting tool.
